The invention provides a steel spring vibration isolator. The steel spring vibration isolator comprises an embedded outer sleeve, an elastic element, a height adjusting gasket, a locking gasket and a spring breaking indicator. Wherein the elastic element comprises two steel springs which are different in diameter and are of a nested structure, so that when one steel spring breaks and loses efficacy, the other steel spring can still play a certain supporting role, certain system redundancy is provided, and the safety of the track is improved; due to the arrangement, the flexibility is also improved, for example, one steel spring can be used as a standard part with fixed rigidity, and the other steel spring can be adjusted according to actual requirements, so that the overall rigidity of the elastic element can be adjusted. The spring breaking indicator is arranged above the elastic element, and the indicating end of the spring breaking indicator is located at the upper end opening of the outer sleeve, so that the state of the steel spring can be conveniently observed, and the fracture failure condition can be found in time. The elastic element can be assembled in advance, the elastic element only needs to be installed as a whole during construction, and construction is more convenient and efficient.
