The invention discloses a cable support joint for improving the anti-collapse performance of a space steel structure. Comprising an outer pipe, a supporting pipe inserted into the outer pipe and in lap joint with the outer pipe, a rolling shaft connected with the end of the outer pipe, an inhaul cable penetrating through the rolling shaft, a hoop arranged on the outer side of the outer pipe in a sleeving mode, a first annular push plate arranged on the outer side of the outer pipe in a sleeving mode, a second annular push plate arranged on the outer side of the supporting pipe in a sleeving mode and a spring arranged between the first annular push plate and the second annular push plate. Outer pipe notches are formed in the two sides of the outer pipe, supporting pipe lug plates are arranged on the two sides of the supporting pipe, and clamping hoop lug plates are arranged on the two sides of the clamping hoop. The supporting pipe lug plate is inserted into the outer pipe notch to achieve lap joint of the outer pipe and the supporting pipe, the supporting pipe lug plate is connected with the clamping hoop lug plate through a bolt, and the relative sliding direction of the supporting pipe lug plate and the clamping hoop lug plate is arranged in the axial direction of the outer pipe. According to the method, the energy dissipation capacity of the structure can be improved while the increase rate of the internal force of the inhaul cable is effectively controlled and the fracture probability of the inhaul cable is reduced, and the purpose of enhancing the anti-collapse performance of the space steel structure is achieved.
