The invention relates to a tool adjusting type electronic device lock which is used for fixing an electronic device and comprises a shell, a fixing piece, a segment adjusting mechanism and an actuating mechanism. The fixing piece is used for being inserted into an anti-theft hole of the electronic device. The segment position adjusting mechanism is provided with a tool operation part, and the tool operation part can adjust the segment position through tool operation. And the actuating mechanism enables the fixing piece to be unfolded according to the current section and clamped and fixed in the anti-theft hole. According to the invention, the tool operation part is arranged on the segment position adjusting mechanism to adjust the segment position of the segment position adjusting mechanism through tool operation, so that the segment position can be effectively prevented from being changed due to various touches, and the same segment position can be ensured when the same electronic device is used each time; and the section position is not easy to adjust, so that the anti-theft effect can be prevented from being lost due to the fact that the section position is easy to adjust after the lock is locked.
