The invention provides a wheat straw pressing and tree planting integrated device for wind prevention and sand fixation and a method thereof. A chassis of a liftable frame is arranged at the top of a shear fork type frame body, and advancing driving wheels are arranged at the bottom of the shear fork type frame body; a movable inserting pipe of the tree planting device is provided with a vertical channel for saplings to pass through, a sand stirring plate is arranged at the bottom of the vertical channel, a sand pushing shovel of the wheat straw pressing and sand pushing device is longitudinally arranged below a chassis in a sliding mode and arranged opposite to the lower end of the movable inserting pipe, and a wheat straw pressing frame is hinged to the front end of the chassis. The composite driving mechanism drives the wheat straw pressing frame to swing so as to press wheat straw and drives the sand pushing shovel to move longitudinally so as to push sand, and the sapling delivery device is used for delivering a single sapling to the upper end of the vertical channel of the insertion pipe. The tree planting device and the tree planting method can automatically complete a series of actions of sapling delivery, planting, sand pulling, soil covering and wheat straw pressing for sand prevention, and are light in structure, easy to operate and suitable for tree planting operation in the desert environment.
