The invention relates to the technical field of bridge drainage, in particular to a main bridge drainage structure and a drainage method.The main bridge drainage structure comprises a drainage pipe arranged below a bridge floor beam and a plurality of downpipes arranged on the bridge floor beam in advance, each downpipe comprises a water inlet part and a drainage part communicated with the drainage pipe, and the water inlet parts are arranged on the upper portion of the bridge floor beam in advance; a mounting assembly is arranged between the water inlet part and the water drainage part; the installation assembly comprises an installation hose and an installation elastic pipe which are arranged in the bridge floor beam in advance, one end of the installation hose is communicated with the water inlet part, the other end of the installation hose is communicated with the drainage part, and the installation hose and the drainage part are sleeved with the installation elastic pipe which is used for providing radial displacement allowance for the drainage part. According to the invention, the drainage pipe and the downpipe can be relatively accurately aligned and mounted.
