According to the invention, the main body (20) and the functional body (21) are non-detachably connected to one another. The invention also relates to a large household appliance (1), in particular a large household refrigeration appliance, comprising a housing (2) in which are implemented: a receiving space (3, 4); a closing element (5, 6) by means of which the receiving space (3, 4) can be closed; and a hinge element (8, 9, 10) according to any one of the preceding claims, by means of which the closing element (5, 6) is attached in an articulated manner to the housing (2).
