The invention relates to the technical field of geogrids, in particular to a one-way plastic stretching geogrid and a using method thereof.The one-way plastic stretching geogrid comprises a grid thin plate, a first rib and a second rib; a plurality of groups of parallel through holes are formed in the grid thin plate, each group of through holes comprises a first punched hole and a second punched hole, a first mounting groove and a plurality of groups of limiting grooves are formed in the first rib, and the limiting grooves are distributed in the first rib at equal intervals and located in the first mounting groove; the second rib comprises a second mounting groove, a first connecting buckle and a second connecting buckle, the first connecting buckle and the second connecting buckle are arranged on the second rib, located on the two sides and used for fixing in the weft direction, and the second rib is provided with multiple sets of limiting blocks for preventing the first rib and the second rib from sliding mutually and deformation grooves formed in the second rib, located between the multiple sets of limiting blocks and used for reserving deformation space for the second rib. The second connecting buckle is provided with a protruding block used for extruding the second rib to shrink and deform along the deformation groove. The splicing of the unidirectional plastic stretching geogrid in the longitude and latitude directions is facilitated, the use of U-shaped nails is greatly reduced, and the workload during laying and dismounting is reduced.
