The invention relates to an annular suspended dome reticulated shell steel structure and a construction method thereof.The construction method comprises the steps that a flower basket column structure is installed, specifically, a pair of arched flower basket columns are arranged, a first reticulated shell unit is annularly arranged between the pair of arched flower basket columns, and a first annular beam is arranged above the first reticulated shell unit; a second reticulated shell unit is annularly arranged between the first annular beam and the first reticulated shell unit; a suspended dome structure is installed, specifically, a first petal reticulated shell unit, a second petal reticulated shell unit, a third petal reticulated shell unit and a third reticulated shell unit are annularly arranged on the radial inner side of the first annular beam from inside to outside in sequence to form the suspended dome structure of a plane petal reticulated shell structure; a plurality of curtain wall columns are annularly arranged on the radial outer side of the flower basket column structure, a bent and twisted box beam is arranged at the top of each curtain wall column, and a curtain wall reticulated shell unit is annularly arranged between each bent and twisted box beam and the corresponding first annular beam; and a cornice structure is installed, wherein cornice main beams are installed on part of the peripheral side face of the curtain wall reticulated shell unit, and cornice secondary beams are connected to the lower portions of the cornice main beams.
