The invention relates to a novel house building corner protector which comprises a first connecting plate fixedly arranged on a wall body and a second connecting plate fixedly arranged on a floor, the second connecting plate and the first connecting plate are mutually fixed together, and a rod body is arranged at the connecting position of the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate; the rod body extends in the direction away from the connecting position of the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate, an elastic wall protection plate is arranged on the rod body, a through hole allowing the rod body to penetrate through is formed in the wall protection plate, the wall protection plate is arranged on the rod body in a sliding mode by penetrating through the through hole, one side of the wall protection plate abuts against a wall, and the other side of the wall protection plate abuts against a floor. The rod body is sleeved with and slidably connected with an abutting ring used for abutting against the face, away from the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate, of the wall protection plate, and a fixing piece used for fixing the abutting ring to any moved position is arranged on the rod body. The wall protection plate has the advantage that the sealing effect between the wall protection plate and the wall body and the floor is improved.
