The invention discloses a strip-shaped foundation formwork reinforcing component and a construction method. The strip-shaped foundation formwork reinforcing component comprises supporting rods, stress components, opposite-pull rods, pins and positioning plates. The top ends of the stress components are hinged to the two ends of the supporting rod respectively, and the stress components are arranged on the outer side of a formwork to be reinforced in a tightly attached mode. The opposite-pull rod is located below the supporting rod and above the positioning plate, penetrates through the stress component and is fixedly connected with the stress component. The positioning plate is fixedly connected to the inner side of the stress component, a first hole is formed in the positioning plate, a second hole is formed in the formwork to be reinforced, and the position of the first hole corresponds to the position of the second hole; the pin penetrates through the first hole and the second hole and is connected with the positioning plate and the formwork to be reinforced. The opposite-pull rods are controlled to be higher than the to-be-poured strip-shaped foundation, and the problems that the land acquisition area needs to be increased when the opposite-pull rods are pulled out after pouring is completed, and the occupied space of construction is large are solved.
