The split mounting type slope protection device comprises a main protection plate, end protection plates, connecting pieces and a tail protection plate. The multiple main protection plates are sequentially connected and then cover the slope body, the end protection plates are arranged at the two ends of a main protection plate set formed by sequentially connecting the multiple main protection plates, the connecting pieces are used for connecting every two main protection plates, the tail protection plate is arranged at the slope bottom and/or the slope top of the slope body, and one side of the tail protection plate is matched with pin holes of the end protection plates through two pins. The corresponding protective plates can be replaced and maintained only by disconnecting the two adjacent protective plates, planting grooves are formed in the surfaces of the main protective plate and the end protective plates, the cross sections of the main protective plate and the end protective plates are trapezoidal, and a plurality of groups of round holes are formed in the surfaces of the main protective plate and the end protective plates. The split mounting type slope protection device is good in stability, good in wave dissipation performance and good in flow field effect, water can permeate to the cushion layer and the embankment core through the round holes, and water exchange with cushion layer stones and the embankment core is achieved.
