The water conservancy gate with the safety protection function and capable of controlling the water flow comprises a base and a protection filter plate, first lead screws and a gate outer frame are connected to the top of the base, the first lead screws are symmetrically arranged on the front side of the gate outer frame, and first lead screw sliding blocks are connected to the first lead screws; and the first lead screw sliding blocks are connected through a protective filter screen, the tops of the first lead screws are connected with the output end of a first motor, the first lead screws are connected through a first belt transmission structure, and the first lead screws are fixedly connected with the front side wall of the gate outer frame through a fixing frame. According to the water conservancy gate with the safety protection function and capable of controlling the water flow, the first motor is arranged, a first lead screw sliding block is driven by the first motor to drive a protection filter screen and a pressing block at the bottom of the protection filter screen to move upwards and then fall, and therefore garbage intercepted by the protection filter screen can be compressed into a compression box in the falling process, and the purpose of automatically removing the garbage is achieved; therefore, the normal work of the protective filter screen is prevented from being influenced.
