The invention relates to the technical field of decorative wallboards, in particular to a wallboard decorative structure and an assembling method thereof. The wallboard decoration structure comprises a left side wallboard assembly, a middle wallboard assembly and a right side wallboard assembly which are sequentially arranged along an embedded space. The device further comprises a left side connecting structure, a right side connecting structure, a first connecting structure, a second connecting structure, a first limiting structure and a second limiting structure, the first limiting structure is connected with the first connecting structure in an inserted mode, and the second limiting structure is connected with the second connecting structure in an inserted mode. The left side wall plate assembly is connected with the left side connecting structure in a clamped mode and abuts against the first limiting structure, the two ends of the middle wall plate assembly are connected with the first connecting structure and the second connecting structure respectively, and the right side wall plate assembly is connected with the right side connecting structure in a clamped mode and abuts against the second limiting structure. According to the wall plate decoration structure, the wall plate can be directly detached on the basis that a ceiling decoration structure is not detached, so that the wall plate can be replaced conveniently, and meanwhile other decoration structures are not affected.
