The invention provides a corrosion prevention method for an overground building outer wall, and relates to the technical field of wall corrosion prevention. The anti-corrosion method for the outer wall of the overground building comprises the following steps that the surface of the outer wall of the overground building is coated with magnesium cementing material mortar, and a magnesium cementing material mortar layer is formed on the surface of the outer wall of the overground building; the magnesium cementing material mortar is prepared from the following raw materials: active magnesium oxide powder, a magnesium salt solution, sand, fibers and a modifier, the mass ratio of the active magnesium oxide powder to the magnesium salt solution to the sand to the fiber to the modifier is 1: (1.5-5): (1-3): (0.01-0.1): (0.05-0.1); the modifier is fly ash and phosphoric acid, or fly ash, ferric sulfate and nano-zinc oxide; the mass fraction of the magnesium salt solution is 20-40%. The magnesium cementing material mortar is used as an anticorrosive coating on the surface of the outer wall of the building, and the coating has a salt-resistant property and can prevent erosion of salt-containing sand storm or salt dust storm.
