The invention provides an auxiliary positioning device for a drainage ditch, which comprises two clamping mechanisms which are arranged in parallel at an interval and are used for respectively clamping two templates on two sides of the drainage ditch; and the telescopic adjustment connecting mechanism is arranged between the two clamping mechanisms, the two ends of the telescopic adjustment connecting mechanism are connected with the two clamping mechanisms correspondingly, and the telescopic adjustment connecting mechanism is used for conducting telescopic adjustment based on the width of the drainage ditch so that the distance between the two clamping mechanisms can be matched with the distance between the two formworks. The distance between the two clamping mechanisms is adjusted through the telescopic adjusting connecting mechanism, so that the distance between the two clamping mechanisms is matched with the width of a drainage ditch; the two clamping mechanisms are clamped on the two formworks correspondingly, positioning of the two formworks is achieved, and the problem that in the existing drainage ditch construction process, formwork supporting is loose, and the drainage ditch construction quality is affected is solved.
