The invention provides a guide roller of a sliding door for a vehicle, which can prevent peeling and cracking of a covering component. In a structure including two eccentric grooves (51a, 51b), even if an upper edge portion of a covering member (7) rolls while bearing a large load by contacting a guide rail member, an outer peripheral surface (50) of an outer ring (5) and the covering member (7) are less likely to slide and displace relative to each other about a rotation axis center (X0) of the outer ring (5), and the covering member (7) can be prevented from being peeled off from the outer peripheral surface (50) of the outer ring (5). Furthermore, a concentric groove (52) extending in the entire circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface (50) of the outer ring (5) is formed between the two eccentric grooves (51a, 51b) on the outer peripheral surface (50) of the outer ring (5), so that the shear stress caused by the difference in the amount of elastic deformation is relieved, and breakage of the covering member (7) can be prevented.
