The invention discloses a parking space for a charging pile to charge a vehicle, the charging pile comprises an electric wire, the parking space comprises a parking space group, the parking space group comprises a middle parking space and side parking spaces arranged on two opposite sides of a main parking space, and the charging pile is arranged right behind the middle parking space. The parking space further comprises a vehicle stopping rod arranged at the rear end of the middle parking space and used for stopping wheels of a vehicle to prevent the vehicle from impacting the charging pile and a rotating mechanism used for driving the vehicle stopping rod to rotate around the axis of the vehicle stopping rod, and the vehicle stopping rod is fixedly connected with an auger piece. When the detection mechanism detects that a vehicle is charged on the side parking space, the rotating mechanism drives the vehicle stopping rod to rotate, and when the electric wire is located on the auger piece, the rotating auger piece enables the electric wire to be close to the vehicle in charging, so that the electric wire is prevented from being pressed by the vehicle entering the middle parking space. According to the parking space for the charging pile to charge the vehicle, the electric wire is not prone to being pressed by the vehicle in front of the charging pile.
