The invention discloses a sand gushing prevention construction method for large open caisson construction in quicksand stratum.The sand gushing prevention construction method comprises the following steps that S1, surveying and paying off are conducted with the center of a shaft as the circle center, a steel sheet pile guide line is marked, and then a steel sheet pile is driven according to the guide line; s2, a foundation pit construction sand cushion layer and an open caisson blade foot are excavated downwards according to a design drawing flat field, and an extension shaft, a partition wall and a cross beam are sequentially constructed; s3, in the sinking process, the position where quicksand soil between the steel sheet pile and the shaft is liquefied into a virtual pit is backfilled and tamped with coarse materials such as gravels, and the position, 2 m above the designed elevation, of the blade foot is sunken; and S4, the quicksand stratum below the circle of the blade foot is completely reinforced through a grouting method, the blade foot sinks to the designed elevation, bottom sealing is conducted, and open caisson bottom plate concrete is poured.
