The invention discloses an energy dissipation damping extension arm based on hydraulic transmission amplification. The extension arm comprises a core tube, an outer frame column, a hydraulic amplification device, a viscous damper and an extension arm truss. Wherein the upper end of the hydraulic amplification device is hinged to an upper chord of the outrigger truss through a pin shaft, the lower end of the hydraulic amplification device is connected with one end of the viscous damper, and the other end of the viscous damper is connected with a steel corbel fixed to the outer frame column. The working efficiency of the damper is effectively improved through the amplification effect of the liquid amplification device, the small deformation of the main body structure is utilized, the deformation amount and the deformation speed are amplified through the effect of the hydraulic amplification device to excite the damper effect, and therefore external load input energy is consumed in a concentrated mode, and the damage effect of external input on the main body structure is reduced; the structure comfort level and the anti-seismic safety performance are improved, and the method has important practical significance on the development of a super high-rise structure.
