The invention discloses a connecting structure and method for a concrete-filled steel tubular column and a steel reinforced concrete transfer beam. The connecting structure comprises the concrete-filled steel tubular column, a lining round steel tube, the steel reinforced concrete transfer beam, a vertical steel bar, a core column joint bar, a stirrup and a tie bar. A steel pipe of the concrete-filled steel tubular column does not extend into the steel reinforced concrete beam, a lining steel pipe is arranged at the top of the steel pipe of the concrete-filled steel tubular column to improve the local pressure bearing capacity, a plurality of vertical steel bars and core column joint bars are inserted into the steel pipe of the concrete-filled steel tubular column, and the vertical steel bars and the core column joint bars extend upwards into the transfer beam. Part of the vertical steel bars and the section steel beam are welded in a slotting mode to form a first force transmission piece when being overlapped, and the other vertical steel bars and core column joint bars adopt closed stirrups and tie bars to form core columns to serve as second force transmission pieces.
