The invention discloses a supporting system and method for concrete column pouring, and the system comprises a column formwork which is in a vertical barrel shape on the whole and internally provided with a pouring space, and the column formwork comprises a plurality of unit plates which are sequentially spliced in the circumferential direction; the annular back ridges are arranged on the periphery of the column formwork in a sleeving mode, the multiple annular back ridges are arranged in the circumferential direction, and the column formwork is supported inwards in the radial direction by the annular back ridges; the vertical back ridges are vertically connected with all the annular back ridges, and the multiple vertical back ridges are arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction; and the inclined strut is connected between the vertical back ridge and the supporting surface.
