According to the method, the preparation process is simple, the reaction process is easy to control, the production period is short, the prepared rod-like binary (ZrxHf (1-x)) B2 ceramic powder has high purity and good microstructure, and the mechanical property of a sintered body can be enhanced in the subsequent forming process.
