The invention provides a hinge assembly and a drawer, the hinge assembly comprises a hinge fixing seat, a hinge plate and a pivoting connecting part arranged between the hinge fixing seat and the hinge plate, and the hinge fixing seat and a hinge matching seat form an accommodating space for accommodating the hinge plate; the hinge plate comprises an arc-shaped arm, a supporting arm and a connecting arm, the supporting arm and the connecting arm are connected with the two ends of the arc-shaped arm respectively, the free end of the connecting arm is rotationally connected with the hinge fixing base through the pivoting connecting part, and the pivoting connecting part is located at the circle center of the arc-shaped arm. By means of the structure, the area crossed by the hinge plate and the opening allowing the hinge plate to penetrate through are both small in the rotating process of the hinge plate, and the appearance of the whole hinge assembly is simple and attractive.
