The invention provides a bridge construction method for an unbalanced continuous beam, which comprises the following steps of: under the condition that a hanging basket is moved to a lower section after a symmetric section is constructed, performing construction in a manner of pre-pressing and balancing the weight of the previous section before pouring so as to balance the stress on two sides of a cantilever twice, and comprising the following steps of: constructing a 0 # block and a 1 # block on a stand column of a bridge; the bridge buttress with the starting section is obtained; a stand column of the 0 # block serves as a temporary buttress, a temporary support is installed on the temporary buttress, and a temporary support system is formed; the bridge buttress with the starting section is tensioned, so that hanging baskets are assembled on the two sides of the bridge buttress; standard segment construction is conducted, and the hanging basket is moved; the side span closure sections are constructed on the standard sections; the middle span section is constructed on the side span closure section; and the temporary support system and the balance weight are dismantled.
