The invention discloses a barrier gate safety island which comprises a deck plate and end plates. Side plates are integrally connected to the two sides of the deck plate and located below the deck plate. The end plates are detachably connected to the two ends of the deck plate, inserting plates are arranged at the two ends, close to the side plates, of the end plates, and the inserting plates are inserted into the inner sides of the side plates. The safety island is connected in a detachable mode, assembling is convenient, and the production efficiency is high; and meanwhile, under the action of a reflective strip, a warning lamp or a lamp strip, passing vehicles can be prompted, and the safety is improved.
