The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a part made of a carbon/carbon composite material, the method comprising: forming (100) a carbonaceous preform, partially densifying (200) the preform with a pyrolytic carbon matrix to form a partially densified blank, impregnating (300) the partially densified blank with an impregnating solution comprising ceramic particles or ceramic precursors, and forming (300) a part made of a carbon/carbon composite material, and drying (400) the impregnated blank. Further, the viscosity of the dispersion or impregnation solution is controlled in order to control the uniformity of the distribution of the ceramic particles within the partially impregnated composite material during drying.
