The method comprises the following steps: acquiring crack data and classifying the causes of the cracks of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement; performing fracture special cause diagnosis based on basic information investigation; traffic and temperature external cause diagnosis based on index and threshold analysis; performing material and structure internal cause diagnosis based on a core sample test and a field test; and comprehensively diagnosing the crack formation cause of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement. According to the method, systematic and comprehensive diagnosis of the crack formation cause of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is realized, and theoretical support is provided for subsequent targeted crack treatment and pavement maintenance.
