The invention provides a self-resetting beam-column connecting module, a beam-column joint and an energy consumption method. The connecting module comprises a plate connecting assembly, a groove-shaped assembly, a connecting assembly and an energy consumption assembly. The plate connecting assembly comprises a transverse connecting plate and a plurality of longitudinal connecting plates. The groove-shaped assembly comprises two groups of matching groove pieces, and the matching groove pieces comprise upper groove pieces and lower groove pieces; the connecting assembly comprises a first connecting piece, a second connecting piece and a third connecting piece which can connect the upper groove piece and the lower groove piece with the transverse connecting plate, the longitudinal connecting plate and the beam respectively. The energy dissipation assembly comprises two energy dissipation components located above the upper groove piece and below the lower groove piece respectively, and the two ends of the energy dissipation components are connected with the columns and the beams respectively. The node comprises an upper column group, a lower column group, an inserting assembly, an upper beam group, a lower beam group and a plurality of modules. The method comprises the step of utilizing the module or the node to consume energy. Post-earthquake damage can be controlled, the shock absorption capacity is good, all components can be prefabricated in a factory, installation is easy and convenient, and the preparation cost is low.
