Embodiments of ladders, roofs, and ladder accessories are provided herein. According to one embodiment, a ladder includes a first pair of spaced apart ladder frames, the first pair of spaced apart ladder frames having one or more steps extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart ladder frames. The ladder further includes a second pair of spaced apart ladder frames. A top cover is coupled either with the first pair of spaced apart ladder frames or with the second pair of spaced apart ladder frames. The top cover includes one or more retention members that may include a lateral groove (e.g., a sidewall and a lip or abutment shoulder associated therewith) configured to hold a container, such as a paint can. The retaining structure may be configured to hold the container in place even if the ladder unintentionally tilts or shakes to one side.
