The invention provides a fireproof plate for building fire protection. The fireproof plate is formed by curing fiber cloth woven by multiple layers of modified basalt fibers and Portland cement slurry in a mold, the fireproof plate is prepared by the following preparation method: dispersing Portland cement, tetramethyl guanidino propyl trimethoxy silane, sodium poly [(naphthaleneformaldehyde) sulfonate] phenolic resin, di (4-isopropyl phenyl) sulfone and a flame retardant into deionized water to obtain slurry, wherein the fiber cloth is formed by weaving multiple layers of modified basalt fibers; the slurry is prepared by the following steps: dispersing the fiber cloth, the Portland cement, the tetramethyl guanidino propyl trimethoxy silane, the sodium poly [(naphthaleneformaldehyde) sulfonate] phenolic resin, the di (4-isopropyl phenyl) sulfone and the flame retardant into the deionized water; and laminating and immersing multiple layers of fiber cloth into the slurry, putting into a mold, curing, and drying to obtain the fire-proof plate for building fire protection. The fireproof plate for building fire protection is low in heat conductivity coefficient, low in water absorption and good in mechanical property.
