The invention provides an assembly type operation walkway and a using method thereof. A plurality of steel frames form an operation platform of a square structure, and a plurality of carrying pole beams which are transversely arranged are arranged above the middle of the operation platform; the two ends of the carrying pole beam are connected with the operation platform through the suspension beams to form an operation walkway structure. The operation platform is arranged at the top of the supporting pier top through the carrying pole beam. The defects that a traditional construction platform is overall heavy, large in occupied space, inconvenient to carry, high in assembly and disassembly difficulty, capable of affecting the construction efficiency and the like are overcome.
