The invention relates to a plateau lake area agricultural water return resource utilization method which comprises a facility part, and the facility part structurally comprises a farmland irrigation water return channel, a regulation and storage pond, a water suction pump, a water conveying pipe, a reservoir, a wind driven generator, a solar photovoltaic device, an energy storage battery, an irrigation water conveying channel, a reservoir water discharge gate and an ecological absorption device. A plurality of groups of farmland irrigation water return channels are arranged and are connected through water conveying pipes; the irrigation water delivery canal is connected with the reservoir; the irrigation water conveying channel is arranged on the side portion of the farmland. According to the method, remarkable economic benefits and ecological benefits are obtained in plateau lake treatment, and a series of problems that land resources are wasted due to land occupation in a traditional farmland water recession ecological treatment mode, the water use cost of local farmers is increased, secondary pollution is caused by sewage overflow in rainy seasons and the like are solved. The method is low in cost, small in technical difficulty and convenient to operate, sewage recycling can be achieved, agricultural non-point source pollution is reduced, and the utilization efficiency of water resources is improved.
