The invention relates to the technical field of road engineering equipment, in particular to a device for landslide trimming of a mountain highway. The feeding assembly comprises a material storage box; the laying device can be folded; the control device comprises a hanging basket; and the compaction device is mounted in the hanging basket, comprises a material dispersing assembly and a compaction assembly, and is used for dispersing and compacting large materials. According to the trimming device, by arranging the feeding assembly and the laying assembly, trimming materials can be conveyed to a to-be-trimmed position through a spiral feeder, and the problem that the materials are difficult to convey is solved; the laying device can be folded, and movement of the device is facilitated. The control device and the compaction device are arranged, the suspension arm is used for controlling the movement of the hanging basket, and the compaction device can be controlled to move to adapt to landslides with different gradients; the heights of the bulk material roller and the pressing roller are adjustable, the control difficulty of the hanging basket can be reduced, and meanwhile laying of materials with different thicknesses is met.
