The invention discloses a construction method of a crawler crane platform, the construction method of the crawler crane platform comprises a support installation stage and an operation platform erection stage, the support installation stage comprises the steps of installing a plurality of supports on the ground right above a plurality of support columns according to the condition that the plurality of support columns in a basement are distributed at intervals in the horizontal direction, a support is mounted on the ground right above each support column; and in the operation platform erecting stage, the hoisting platform is installed on at least part of the supports, and the crawler crane can conduct hoisting work on the hoisting platform. The support is installed over the supporting columns in the basement, loads of the support and the hoisting platform are all transmitted to the ground of the basement through the supporting columns of the basement, and therefore under the condition that the basement exists, a crawler crane can be used for conducting construction on a building, and the construction period of the building is greatly shortened.
