The transverse moving type open caisson stereo garage comprises a vehicle taking end, a lifting machine, a vehicle storing end and a parking space end, the parking space end comprises a plurality of parking spaces arranged in the tangential direction of the lifting machine, and the parking space end is arranged underground to form an open caisson garage; a raking assembly is arranged at one end of the transverse moving platform; the raking and lifting assembly can be connected with the parking opening chain plate conveying mechanism to achieve leveling, and the raking and lifting assembly can further be connected with the parking space chain plate conveying mechanism or the vehicle taking opening chain plate conveying mechanism to provide power for the parking space chain plate conveying mechanism or the vehicle taking opening chain plate conveying mechanism. The raking and lifting assembly is arranged on the transverse moving platform, the raking and lifting assembly can achieve forced leveling of the transverse moving platform and a steel structure at the vehicle storage end or the parking space end or the vehicle taking end, so that the height error generated due to long-term use of the steel structure is made up, meanwhile, the position switch is arranged to further ensure the position of a vehicle, and then the needed raking and lifting angle is determined; therefore, it is ensured that the vehicles are flat during parking, flexible vehicle parking, parking and vehicle taking are achieved, and the method is used for protecting the vehicles.
