The invention provides a preparation method of a novel high-temperature-resistant and high-strength aluminum-magnesium castable, which comprises the following steps: firstly, premixing silica powder, magnesia fine powder and a dispersing agent in a vibrating ball mill for 20-30 minutes according to a certain proportion, fully mixing the silica powder, the magnesia fine powder and a reinforcing agent, and sealing and storing the mixed fine powder for later use; secondly, premixing the high-aluminum aggregate, the corundum fine powder, the magnesia fine powder, the alumina micro powder, the silica powder and the premix according to a certain proportion in a mixer for 6-8 minutes, and discharging for later use; finally, water is added into a wet mixing machine for stirring, the water adding amount is 5-6%, after stirring, pouring materials are discharged after good fluidity is achieved, the pouring materials are put into a special mold for vibration forming, and various high-temperature-resistant prefabricated parts are formed through pouring; the refractory material has the advantages of low cost, high refractoriness, excellent normal-temperature strength, high-temperature liquid corrosion resistance, high scouring resistance and the like, and can be widely applied to high-temperature containers at the temperature of more than or equal to 1600 DEG C.
