The existing box culvert is led out of an original mountain torrent ditch and is sequentially connected with the steering section box culvert, the steering section box culvert turns to avoid a building, at least one vertical shaft is sequentially connected to the steering section box culvert, the tail end of the steering section box culvert is communicated with the step section box culvert, stair steps are arranged in the step section box culvert, and the step section box culvert is connected with the vertical shaft. The tail end of the step section box culvert is communicated with the smooth section box culvert, and the tail end of the smooth section box culvert extends to a river channel. The novel torrential flood box culvert diversion structure can be provided under the condition that the torrential flood ditch space is limited, and space turning, energy dissipation and scour prevention are achieved on the basis that safe flood discharge is guaranteed.
