The invention relates to a connector, an excavator and engineering machinery. The connector comprises two side plates which are oppositely arranged, first ends of the two side plates are provided with hook-shaped parts, and the hook-shaped parts are configured to hook a first shaft; the bottom plate is connected with the two side plates; the power piece is arranged on the bottom plate and located between the two side plates; the hook-shaped piece is arranged on the bottom plate and located between the two side plates, the hook-shaped piece is connected to the power piece, and the hook-shaped piece is configured to extend out of the second ends of the two side plates under the driving action of the power piece so as to hook a second shaft; wherein the second end and the first end are two opposite ends of the side plate. According to the connector, the first shaft is hooked through the hook-shaped part, power is provided through the power piece, the hook-shaped piece is driven to stretch out of the second ends of the two side plates, and the second shaft is hooked, so that the mechanical arm and the operation device are rapidly connected through the connector, manual operation is not needed in the connecting process, the operation efficiency is high, and the connector is simple in structure and low in cost.
