The invention provides a flat type electric bolt lock, and belongs to the field of manufacturing of lockset supplies. The device comprises a base, a controller, a motor, a transverse rack and a vertical rack, the motor is fixedly mounted on the base and is provided with a rotating shaft, and two driving gears are mounted on the rotating shaft; the base is further provided with a lock pin capable of sliding up and down, and the vertical rack is fixed to the lock pin. The base is further provided with a sliding base capable of sliding horizontally, and the transverse rack is fixed to the sliding base. The two driving gears are respectively meshed with the transverse rack and the vertical rack; a position sensor is arranged on the base and located in the sliding direction of the sliding base. The position sensor and the motor are electrically connected with the controller. The two racks in different directions are driven by one motor, so that the position of the lock pin can be determined at any time while the lock pin is controlled; not only is the use effect enhanced, but also the manufacturing cost is reduced.
