The fly ash-based guniting material is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 20 to 70 percent of fly ash, 19 to 35 percent of cement, 20 to 80 percent of sand, 1 to 5 percent of accelerator, 0.05 to 0.5 percent of thickening agent and 0.05 to 0.5 percent of rubber powder, the fly ash-based guniting comprises the fly ash-based guniting material, so that the fly ash-based guniting is short in setting time, high in early strength, low in rebound rate, excellent in mechanical property and convenient to construct; the coal ash based guniting is applied to roadway top sealing and side sealing of mine laneways, railway tunnels or diversion culverts, the sealing effect on the roadway top and the roadway side is obvious, surrounding rock weathering can be effectively prevented, and the roadway supporting strength is guaranteed; meanwhile, the fly ash is turned into wealth, and the material cost is reduced.
