The highway-railway dual-purpose ballast screening machine comprises a vehicle body, a rotary table arranged on the vehicle body and an operation room arranged on the rotary table, an operation arm mechanism is hinged to the rotary table through a fixing base, a screening hopper device is arranged on the side, away from the rotary table, of the vehicle body, and a conveying belt mechanism is arranged at the discharging end of the bottom of the screening hopper device. The conveying belt mechanism is used for bearing unqualified small-particle waste materials which are vibrated and sieved by the sieve bucket device and conveying the unqualified small-particle waste materials out of the side of the vehicle body; the conveying belt mechanism comprises a first conveying belt and a second conveying belt, the first conveying belt is assembled below the discharging end of the screening hopper device, and the feeding end of the second conveying belt is movably installed on the vehicle body and can rotate in the horizontal plane and the vertical plane so as to adjust and control the falling point position of waste at the discharging end. The ballast cleaning machine is mainly used for cleaning the screen of railway tunnels, crossroads, bridges and in-station lines, and small particles, broken sand and qualified large-particle ballasts which do not meet requirements in the ballasts can be effectively screened through the vibration type screen hopper and are fed in different ways, so that the purpose of cyclic utilization is achieved.
