The municipal rainwater regulation and storage system comprises a collection pool, a collection disc, a downpipe and a filter screen, an opening of the collection pool faces upwards, the collection disc covers the opening of the collection pool, the collection disc is provided with a water falling opening, the downpipe is communicated with the water falling opening, the lower end of the downpipe extends into the collection pool, the filter screen is arranged in the collection pool, and the filter screen is arranged in the collection pool. The filter screen is higher than the lower end of the downpipe, the collecting tank is provided with a water outlet, the water outlet is higher than the filter screen, and the water outlet is used for being communicated with a regulation and storage tank. Rainwater, sundries and the like fall into the collecting disc firstly and then directly fall below the filter screen through the downpipe, the rainwater is output to the storage pond from the water outlet, the filter screen prevents the sundries from floating upwards to the water outlet so as to prevent the sundries from flowing into the storage pond, and the actual water storage capacity of the storage pond is guaranteed.
