The invention discloses a corbel material for a dry quenching furnace and a preparation method of a corbel brick. The corbel material comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 39-72% of tabular corundum, 8-15% of andalusite powder, 8-15% of kyanite powder, 3-8% of activated alumina micro powder, 2-7% of aluminate cement and 2-7% of silica fume. The corbel brick is prepared by adopting a casting molding method; kyanite and andalusite are decomposed and expanded in a segmented mode according to different temperatures, and the sinking problem caused by bracket creep is just solved; the corbel brick prepared by the method is larger in thickness, the higher the anti-shearing force in the vertical direction is, and the brick body is more difficult to break.
