The swimming pool cleaning robot with the ultraviolet sterilization function comprises a main body with an inner cavity, a filtering device used for filtering water is arranged in the inner cavity of the main body, the main body is further provided with an ultraviolet sterilization lamp, and the ultraviolet sterilization lamp is used for irradiating the water filtered by the filtering device. The swimming pool cleaning robot is provided with the ultraviolet germicidal lamp, so that the swimming pool cleaning robot can irradiate and sterilize a water body while sucking and filtering dirt, and therefore, sterilization treatment on various bacteria is realized; the swimming pool cleaning robot does not need to use a disinfectant, does not generate any toxic and harmful substances while meeting the sterilization function, and does not interfere with the use of a user on a swimming pool; moreover, the ultraviolet germicidal lamp in the swimming pool cleaning robot is mainly used for sterilizing the water body filtered by the filtering device, so that impurities in the water can be prevented from influencing the penetrability of ultraviolet rays to cause adverse influence on the sterilizing effect, and the sterilizing effect is effectively ensured.
