The invention discloses a step-by-step drilling and excavating rectangular anti-slide pile mechanical hole forming method with a haunched horizontal cantilever. The method comprises the steps that a slag treatment mechanism, a multifunctional drilling assembly and a vertical drilling device are sequentially arranged on a drilling machine from top to bottom; the vertical drilling device is controlled to vertically drill the stratum downwards till the designed depth of the horizontal cantilever, so that a free section of the rectangular pile hole is formed; the multifunctional drilling device is started, the multifunctional drilling device gradually rotates outwards with the connecting shaft as the rotating center and drills and digs the stratum at the same time, and haunching holes are formed; a horizontal hydraulic cylinder is controlled to drive the multifunctional drilling device to horizontally move outwards to drill and dig the stratum to the designed length, so that a horizontal cantilever pile hole is formed; and the vertical drilling device continues to be controlled to vertically drill the stratum downwards to the designed depth of the rectangular pile hole so as to form a built-in section of the rectangular pile hole.
