The invention relates to an aluminum electrolysis cell lining material which comprises the following components in parts by mass: 10-25 parts of first fly ash particles, the particle size of the first fly ash particles is not greater than 10 and greater than 3 mm; 10-30 parts of second fly ash particles, the particle size of the first fly ash particles being not greater than 3 mm and greater than 1 mm; 10-50 parts of third fly ash particles, the particle size of the first fly ash particles being not greater than 1 mm and greater than 0.05 mm; and 20-30 parts of fourth fly ash particles, wherein the particle size of the first fly ash particles is not greater than 0.05 mm. By reasonably designing the particle size distribution of the fly ash particles, the aluminum electrolysis cell lining material has a good heat preservation effect and construction convenience; the fly ash-based brick can be prepared by directly granulating and sintering the fly ash-based raw materials, and is directly paved during use, so that the use is convenient.
