The invention discloses an automatic reset device and method for controlling construction settlement deformation of an underground pipeline, and the installation of the reset device is realized before the construction is started. In the initial stage, pipeline positioning and deformation control device installation are achieved, and a set of multi-point settlement control system is formed. In the construction process, when settlement deformation of the pipeline is monitored, the reset device exerts the axial force in real time, the settlement deformation of the pipeline is counteracted in real time, dynamic and accurate control over the settlement deformation of the pipeline is achieved, and therefore accumulation of deformation can be avoided. After construction is finished, grouting can be carried out through a grouting hole designed in the reset device, gaps possibly appearing at the bottom of the pipeline are filled, and the stability of the pipeline after the device is unloaded and dismantled is guaranteed. According to the device, real-time control over the whole process of settlement deformation is achieved, the accumulative effect of deformation is avoided, counter force is applied from the initial stage, development of deformation is controlled, and settlement deformation is controlled in real time along with the proceeding of the construction process.
