The invention relates to the technical field of pavement materials, in particular to a high-performance asphalt concrete pavement material and a preparation method thereof. The formula of the pavement material comprises asphalt, high-melt-index SBS, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, fly ash, a water reducing agent, a low-temperature anti-cracking agent and an anti-freezing agent. The preparation method of the low-temperature anti-cracking agent comprises the following steps: stirring homo-polypropylene, nano silicon carbide and low-melt-index SBS, and carrying out extrusion spinning to obtain the low-temperature anti-cracking agent. By optimizing the proportion and adding specific components, the material has good low-temperature anti-cracking performance, anti-freezing performance and anti-stripping performance. The high-performance asphalt concrete pavement material provided by the invention is expected to be applied to the fields of highway engineering and road construction in low-temperature areas.
