The main frame body is fixedly arranged on the walking device and bears a guide device, a garbage picking device, a wireless charging device and a main support, and the walking device drives the robot to walk in the length direction of the highway guardrail under the guidance of the guide device; the main support is fixedly arranged at one end of the main frame body in the walking direction and bears a green plant pruning device, a pesticide spraying device and a monitoring and warning device. According to the expressway maintenance robot provided by the embodiment of the invention, garbage can be automatically recognized and picked up, green plants are trimmed, pesticides are sprayed on an expressway, multifunctional operation is carried out, the cost is reduced, the personnel safety risk is reduced, and the working efficiency is improved.
