The buckling restrained brace comprises a sealing barrel, filler and an energy consumption core material, the two ends of the energy consumption core material extend out of sealing plates at the two ends of the sealing barrel, the two outer ends of the energy consumption core material can slide relative to via holes of the sealing plates, an inner cavity of the sealing barrel is filled with the filler, and the filler is arranged in the inner cavity of the sealing barrel. The energy consumption core material comprises a first core material and a second core material assembly, the first core material and the second core material assembly are arranged side by side, the two outer ends of the first core material and the second core material assembly are fixedly connected, the second core material assembly comprises two second core materials, and the first core material and the second core material assembly are fixedly connected. The inner ends, located in the sealing cylinder, of the two second core materials are connected through a limiting device, and the two second core materials slide relatively within a preset stroke. According to the double-stage yielding buckling restrained brace, through the energy consumption core materials arranged in parallel, the energy consumption and seismic resistance effects can be achieved in small earthquakes and large earthquakes correspondingly.
